Winemaker dinner in Hawaii
On January 15th, we were lucky enough to host a winemaker dinner at the Manta restaurant at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii. If you find yourself on the Big Island, don’t miss out on dining at this beautiful restaurant. They did a fantastic job pairing our HUNNICUTT and CUTT wines with a unique menu that highlighted local ingredients. Take a look at the menu from our dinner:
HUNNICUTT 2009 Chardonnay
Baby Keahole Abalone “Stephanie”, Barely Cooked, Japanese Uni Caviar, Calamansi Ponzu
Crispy Ali’i Moi, Slow Roasted Kalua Pig, Big Island Corn Consomme, Earth Grown Lomi Lomi Tomato
CUTT 2007 Fearless Red
BBQ Farmer Quail, Polenta Fries, Braised Greens, Local Honey, Spiced Quail Jus
HUNNICUTT 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
Big Island Short Ribs in Two Acts, Soy, Herbs, Black Garlic, Organic Beets, Fresh Hilo Wasabi Root
One word – Delicious!

Just got back this evening from Mauna Kea and had your delicious Cutt — recommended by our server Heidi. She raved about it. Am wondering how we can order this from you. Please advise me. The wine was just soo pleasant and delicious and marvelous. Thank you, Eleanor K. Noguchi

Hi Eleanor,
Thanks so much for the compliment and your support! The wine that you had at Mauna Kea was the CUTT 2007 Fearless Red. We have now released the 2008 vintage and think that you will be equally as pleased. You can either order directly from the website (click on “purchase” on the website http://www.hunnicuttwines.com) or feel free to call us directly and we’ll help you place the order – 707.963.2911. Please also let us know if you ever make it to Napa Valley as we’d love to have you taste some more of our wines at the winery.
Best,
Seana Stephens
